VILLERS-BOCAGE 13 June, 1944
Below shows a map the route Wittmann took on 13 June 1944 through Villers-Bocage. The positions are global.
The street with the numbers 1 to 7, is Rue Georges Clemenceau. The point where Wittmann his Tiger was
crippled is a speculation from my side. A known fact is, that Wittmann returned and blasted the Cromwell of
Captain Dyas as a last victim. Wittmann past Dyas his Cromwell heading for the crossroads towards Tilly-sur-Seulles,
when he ran into the shot given by 6-pounder anti-tank gun .
